Beautiful dreamer, wake unto me,
Starlight and dewdrops are waiting for thee;
Sounds of the rude world heard in the day,
Lull'd by the moonlight have all pass'd away

20!
feels good to be hitting the 2 digit =D
Thanks soo much to everyone and everyone who sent me their wishes! been so heartwarming to receive the blessings from friends and family. And once again reminded me of how blissful i am to be surrounded with such wonderful people. Seldom have the chance to reflect on such stuff, in the midst of all the negativities. Think birthday also serves as a day of reflection and gratitude, besides the celebration. i need more of such days man.
anyhows, been pretty exciting to be in the gang of the 20s. i term it as the 'decade of happenings'. Looking forward to life in the prime age. But somehow, being 20 is also neither here nor there. 'not a teenager, not yet an adult'. trapped in the in-between, i think it does serves a purpose anyhow. Perhaps this is the age to truly reflect back on the 20 years of existance in this world, and before the official adulthood of 21, this period enables us to realign our goals for the future, and ultimately decides what we want to acheive. For me, it has been pretty much of an internalised reality. Hitting the 20 means that some mentality of mine have to be shifted. Have a year for the transition. Something like, from boy to man. yes sure, army has been a catalyst for the 'morph', but somehow it has been quite an obstacle as well. nevertheless, been refocusing on stuff and going into different states of mind, all for the better of me. No one said it'll be easy, but 'easy' itself can sometimes be quite an abstract kinda concept. or am i making easy so difficult. hah.
cheers to many good and exciting years ahead! and thanks again fellow buddies and pretty ladies for the wishes! =D

Went Brewerkz yest nite for dinner, beer and soccer match with s75 guys. awesome place! ordered this burger, which was real huge. much bigger than that of a standard Carl Jr's. decision influenced by Jas, who once told me the burger's yummy. indeed. initially we wanted to order this fruit beer, which taste sweet rather than the usual bitterness of a beer. however the waiter told us it was sold out. such hot stuff. we gotten this tower of Indian Ale instead. real smooth, with the after taste nothing that of bitter, a pretty unique taste i would say. and so the match started, with me and wz and jc supporting the underdogs. the rest of the guys rooting for man utd. pretty exciting to be cheering for the miniority. i'm not the least bit of a man c fan, am a true blue chelsea fan. just that it'd be good to see man utd losing this match and with chelsea a better chance of taking the title. but heh, as predicted, man utd won. nonetheless, fun to be cheering against man utd. hahah. Walked around clark quay after the match. Really happening over there. And as usual, there was at least one lamborghini park next to MOS. a white one this time. drools. Lambos are so my thing. Went play pool at je till 1 plus am. and coincidentally, met gab kenneth they all over there playing pool as well. din realise they were there till gab came over. he and his cheeky smile. hah. Nothing short of a fantastic evening. good to see everyone again, after so long. Cheers!

wanted to blog about the last weekend but apparantly was too lazy to do so, till now. so here's a quick update on things. fantastic long weekend by the way.
went to ubin on sat. was the j2's oec. anyway while waiting for the gals at changi, we had a feast for lunch. ordered this XO Crab bee hoon. woah the taste is superb! pics of the dish taken, along with the remains of the demolition of the crab. haha. upload soon when heng send me. Met the gals and the 6 of us j4s went to ubin happily. cycled arnd, met the j3s at the campsite. glad to see most of them there. and our ubin loyal fren is still there! alright he's just a brown dog, but he accompanied us, walking with us when we were j1s n j2s, and after so long he's still down there following us around. took pics at the campsite. and Yuan Ling quite poor thing la, hahah keep kena suanned by me just because of that incident during our oec a couple of years back. but really funny to see her reactions. heh i just like bully juniors. =p anyway we had a good dinner at the jetty on mainland, with the food tasting better than expected at this rather cool al fresco styled cafe. went White Sands played cards at the Mac after dinner, cos most of us don't really feel like going home. eventually reached home around midnight, shagged but a day well spent.
woke up like real early on sun to go Pei Ling's church. The decision was made just on the train ride home the previous night, with Aaron on a spontaneous syndrome. Church was pretty amazing, met a few of peiling's friends. very friendly and nice people, creating laughter just suanning peiling. hahah peiling's quite poor thing actually. but what to do, she's just too cute lah. and am glad Aaron accomplished his main objective. he's a happy man.
Took leave on mon and slack at home. decided that i was too sian to go camp, so took leave in the early morning and went back to sleep till afternoon. tutored my kid brother for awhile. kinda worrying that he's still so relac when his exams are like looming.
watched spidey on tues! awesome spidey and his web. and aaron and xh just have the lamest idea of giving the belated bday present to tash. hope he like his comic!
Looking forward to this coming weekend as well. will be a fabulous one, meeting up lots of ppl. and ling xiang just told me her exams are over. she gotten this new haircut as well, now sporting short hair. hahah we all cant wait to see her new look. hope everyone meets up soon after the gals' exams!
