Beautiful dreamer, wake unto me,
Starlight and dewdrops are waiting for thee;
Sounds of the rude world heard in the day,
Lull'd by the moonlight have all pass'd away

Hello everybody!! Am back after a 4 mth plus hiatus. heh heh. Well, haven been blogging partly due to laziness, and am also busy with camp stuff. Haven really gotten the mood to blog when i'm still sian-ified with the mundane routine of army life. But it's ok! Less than 4 more mths to go till the glorious day of my ord. I shall hang on till then! (time seems to draggg on day by day though..)
Some updates:
Am learning driving now, will be taking the prac test on Jan next yr, straight after i ord. Hope to pass on the first time! If not real malu, lah. Just changed my driving instructor cos the previous one keep on sleeping on his job, while i'm driving. Perhaps I drive till real smooth and comfortable so he kinda doze off huh. Hah, but well I suppose sleeping on the job just isn't professional, and especially if you are a driving instructor where safety of everyone is at stake, dozing off while teaching someone is just wrong. So I changed to a supposedly safer and more patient instructor, let's just hope he can give me my licence next Jan.
Was very siao-on about going to Germany to study next year. It'll be a direct and specialised degree in Transportation Design, which in fact is car designing - my ultimate goal. But SIGHS! After contacting alot of agencies in SG and The Deutschland, and even the German Embassy, emails phone calls and faxes, I found out that one of their admission criteria for this course is 'proficiency in German Language'. I calculated, and it'll take me like, 3.5 yrs to reach that kinda standard required by the university. 3.5 years man! booo hoo. Ah well, so for now it's still NUS for me. Unless some miracle happens and I can get sponsored to go to the states or UK... ha happy dreaming! Anyway Industrial Design still rocks, lah. Despite the many comments that it's a difficult course and the dropout rate is high, but hey. kc has put his mind to it, and will last it through the course and enjoy his uni life to the max. Can't wait for uni to start next yr!
Have been making alot of plans and more plans for that 7 months after ord till uni starts next yr. Yes yes, i know it's still early for that, but I guess it's all these plans that keeps me alive during working days. Holidays, lots of sleep, outings, gatherings, meeting up with those I haven met for eons. Quality time with family, friends. Finding a job i like, monkeying around with my buddies, wasting away. It all sounds so exciting and tempting. And yet, time has to be the barrier between all these freedom. Guess I'll just have to focus on tasks at hand and maybe, time will make way for me to enjoy this freedom i so madly craves.
Word of the day: ORD (operationally-ready date). Means, FREEDOM.
