Beautiful dreamer, wake unto me,
Starlight and dewdrops are waiting for thee;
Sounds of the rude world heard in the day,
Lull'd by the moonlight have all pass'd away

Picture paints a thousand words. Indeed. Had such a meaningful experience facilitating the Children's Workshop at NUS High on last Sat. Am glad I went for it. Had two sessions, one in the morning and another one in the afternoon. The kids were simply so adorable! Helped conduct some of the games as well, as the trainer for my group couldn't really project his voice in the correct manner. He ended up with a sore throat. Haha, poor guy. Nevertheless, it was great working with him. Mr Monte's his name. At the end of the day, all of us were so shagged! Managing kids were not as easy as we thought initially. And the pay for the event was much more than we had expected. Haha. Cayden was indeed generous. But well, all of us were more for the experience than the pay. We wanted to interact with the children, help out in the event. I guess we went home with so much more. seeing the kids having fun, doing our part for the event, seeing the smiles all around. Though shagged, it was good shagged. =)
Just a few of the pictures taken that day (credits to enchantingkairos.com):
Me giving instructions for a game.
Caucasian kids are definitely much more pro-active than Singaporean kids, I came to realise. This young lady proved to possess good leadership skills. She volunteered to be the leader for a game that I conducted (and modified). Way to go!
Mr Monte attempting to burst a balloon using his head. Haha, the kids were very amused by his antics. And this pink little girl was soo adorable!!
